Under the pandemic, women act as conductors in their families and have been facing challenges with their physical and mental wellness.They need to coordinate household chores, including keeping household hygiene, collecting anti-epidemic materials, maintaining harmonious family relationships and keeping family members healthy. Women are asking for mutual support among others as the experience and solutions could be shared under similar circumstances.

In view of this, the Women’s Commission has produced four episodes of videos entitled “Women in Concert, Rise above the Pandemic”. It tells the story of Mable who faces unprecedented pressure from daily life and financial burden in taking care of the family. The short videos share how Mable and various experts tackle difficulties during the epidemic.

In addition, the Women’s Commission has organised the “Women in Concert, Rise above the Pandemic” campaign to encourage women to produce and submit video clips to share useful reference information, personal experience and “practical tips” as home-carers during the epidemic.
